Containers For Change
Turn your waste into wheelchairs!
Collect your own eligible recyclable containers or organise a Containers For Change Drive at your school, workplace, community group, club, church or association. It’s a simple, no-cost activity that helps raise funds and also supports environmental awareness and recycling.
By collecting eligible Containers For Change bottles, cans and more you can turn your waste into mobility for kids.
Every 3000 containers recycled converts in a complete Adjusta Wheelchair for a child.
Creating a Container Drive is easy:
- Download our WFKA Container Drive Poster
- Set up an agreeable location at your office, school, club where people can bring in their eligible containers
- Pop up the poster (print in A4 or A3 size) at the collection point and send an email around the office to promote the drive with a Drive Deadline (we recommend making it a Monday or a Friday)
- Send a final email to remind people of the deadline
- Find your local Containers For Change Collection Point. We may be able to assist with pick ups from businesses/ schools in the northern suburbs. Please call 9409 3633 to check.
Take the poster with our Barcode or use Scheme ID C10336476 to donate the proceeds directly to Wheelchairs For Kids Australia.
