When you host a fundraiser for Wheelchairs For Kids Australia (WFKA), you’re not just raising money. You’re helping raise a child off the ground, giving them the life-changing gift of movement and the ability to go to school, play and participate more fully in community life.

Your fundraising can be as large or as small as you’d like – every dollar counts. Here are some fun ways you can get involved:
Morning Tea Or BBQ Fundraisers
Organise a small or large event withing your community group, club, church or associations.
Challenge Yourself
Register for a fun run, walk the Bibbulmun Track, swim to Rottnest! There are many opportunities to raise awareness and funds. Participate in an existing community event or create your own challenge.
Get Your School Involved
Check out our Wheel-a-thons designed especially for schools or create your own fundraising activity with your school community. Soft Toy Drives are another great way to share WFKA with kids.
Workplace Events
Ask your employer if they’ll match staff donations or kick-start a fundraising campaign at work Learn more about Workplace Giving.
Special Celebrations
Instead of gifts, encourage friends and family to donate to WFKA in honour of your birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christmas or in memory of a loved one.
Containers For Change
Collect your own eligible recyclable containers or organise a Containers For Change Drive at your school, workplace, community group, club, church or associations. It’s a fun no-cost activity that helps raise funds and also supports environmental awareness and recycling
How We’ll Support You
WFKA has a fundraising website where we can help you set up your own fundraising page to collect money for an event, gift in lieu, wheel-a-thon or any other event. You can brand this with a company, club or church logo along with your photos. Fundraising using a URL will reduce cash handling and donors will receive an immediate tax receipt.
We can also provide you with posters, support developing content, brochures, banners for events in Perth metro, guest presenters or other resources you may need to help promote your activity.
