Update on Timor Leste

In March this year a container of 220 wheelchairs was dispatched to Timor Leste, arriving in Dili April, 2019.

During August, Lois Moir (Occupational Therapist) visited Timor Leste to monitor progress and give additional training for staff of Centro Nacional de Rebilitacao (CNR) , the disability services division of the Timor Leste government in Dili and Balibo. Training centred on the Prescription and Adjustment of WFK’s wheelchairs.

We would like to acknowledge the support of the Australian Government through an Australian Aid Friendship Grant for their contribution to the cost for producing the 220 wheelchairs.
