Radio Interview with Br Olly Picket

DJ Mike Crichton of Sonshine FM Radio Perth turns the community spotlight on Wheelchairs For Kids Australia on the eve of celebrating our 60,000th wheelchair with a fantastic interview with Br Olly Pickett.
Olly is one of our founding volunteers and our long-term Factory Manager. Infact, Olly has been running our factory since Day 1 – more than 25 years!
Mike and Olly discuss the history of Wheelchairs For Kids from the very first wheelchair dispatched from Perth in 1998 along with some of the countries and communities Olly has visited to see the difference a wheelchair can make in the life of a child with disability.
Wheelchairs For Kids began as project of Scarborough Rotary Club. We are now based in Wangara, in Perth’s northern suburbs and export a custom-made all-terrain, adjustable wheelchair to less developed countries across the globe.
We hope you enjoy Olly’s story, audio courtesy of SonshineFM Radio, Perth.
