On behalf of the thousands of children who have already received wheelchairs, the WFK Management Committee and the Volunteers owe a heart felt thanks to the many individuals, organizations and companies who have made it possible. Some of our sponsors wish to remain anonymous and we respect their privacy however there are many individuals, companies, a growing number of Rotary Clubs and other groups that can be recognised. Special thanks go to the Western Australian State Government, to the Rotary Club of Scarborough and the many other clubs and the Christian Brothers, who collectively cover our workshop overheads.
In addition, we acknowledge Visy and its related Pratt Foundation for financial support and particularly for the ongoing supply of cardboard cartons in which we pack the wheelchairs ready for shipment. We must also gratefully acknowledge the people who make the blankets, cushion covers and toys to accompany our finished product. More than 190 schools, students and teachers alike have worked very hard fundraising for WFK, raising thousands of dollars. The fund-raising efforts of two young people, Sian White and Joss Tonkin are especially appreciated. School groups are welcome to visit the workshop by prior arrangement with Olly Pickett or Bob Sheridan.
WFK is indebted to a number of companies that provide transport, materials and services. They are nice people to do business with, so please consider them for your own requirements.
